About the Firm

With more than 25 years of combined experience, the principals of the firm, Heather L. Cozby, CPA and Christine L. Bruno, CPA, have the resources and experience necessary to provide quality professional services on a timely basis and at a reasonable cost.  In addition to Heather and Christine, the firm has six incredible support staff members: Kathy Barbaro, Kimberly O’Leary, Josh Bruno, Sherry Noe, Tracy Thompson and Christine Stutzman.

Heather L. Cozby, CPA
Principal – Tax Manager
Heather has worked in the field of accounting for over ten years where she obtained a diverse set of skills and worked in a variety of industries.  The most significant portion of this experience came from her employment at a South Shore accounting firm that specialized in the financial needs of condominium associations, small businesses owners, real estate entities, and high net worth individuals.  She opened her Sagamore Beach firm, Heather L. Cozby P.C., in June of 2005 to service the unique accounting and tax needs of small businesses and individuals through the South Shore and Cape Cod.  Heather is a graduate, Magna Cum Laude, from the University of Massachusetts – Boston holding a Bachelor of Science degree in Management with a concentration in Accounting.  She is actively involved in the community through local organizations, most recently as a charter member and Director of Vocational Services of the Plymouth Sunrise Rotary Club, as well as of the Director of Finance of The Rising Tide Charter School.  Heather resides in South Plymouth with her husband John and their son Cosmo Jack.

Christine L. Bruno, CPA
Principal – Audit & Accounting Manager
Christine has been an accountant for over eighteen years.  For the past seven years, she has been in business for herself as Boucher & Co, a consulting business specializing in providing CFO level expertise to smaller companies that cannot support a fulltime advisor.  Before opening her own consulting firm, Christine worked for a multi-million dollar telecommunications company as their controller.  Christine received her seven years of public accounting training on the South Shore where she audited such clients as municipalities and prepared financial statements and tax returns for small businesses and high net worth individuals. Christine is a graduate of Southeastern Massachusetts University holding a Bachelor Science degree in Accounting. She is actively involved in the community and serves on the Cape Cod Regional Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. She enjoys traveling and scuba diving in exotic locations with her husband Josh.  They reside in West Wareham with their dog Kona.
